“We’re a little sunburned from our Hawaii trip, but this is us”, Ramona and David Werst of Texas Cruise Company. We book everywhere, but we love the port of Galveston, Texas. From Galveston, we like to book what we call the Texas Cruise. It’s in the Carnival Conquest or the Carnival Ecstasy in the Western Caribbean.
Texas Cruise Company specializes in cruises from Texas such as on the Carnival Conquest and the Carnival Ecstasy that sail out of Galveston, but we also sail the seven seas from ports everywhere.
It’s just that for Texas and a whole lot of the country, it is very convenient to sail from Texas. We’ve been on the ships that sail out of Texas and they are great.
Yes, Galveston is almost back at 100% , and the major hotels are up and running and spick and span as ever. And the port at Galveston is going strong with great cruises. As we said, although the Texas Cruise Company sails under the Texas Flag, and loves the Texas Cruise, we book cruises throughout the Caribbean, Alaskan cruises, Hawaii as well as worldwide. We also specialize in golf destinations in the Caribbean, around the world, and pre/post cruise travels. Yes, we have played Cozumel Country Club and had a great time…..Iguanas and all. We consider that part of the Texas Cruise.

Texas Cruise Company owner David Werst is a retired Newspaper publisher, educator, and businessman. “I’m part of the baby boomers who are starting to retire. I was too young to sit on the porch and I love to travel. I took my first cruise and was hooked.” Ramona and I loved the cruise experience so much, we formed Texas Cruise Company.com which gets hundreds of visitors a day. “We’re getting popular because of personal service and a Texas friendly attitude,” explained David.
Another hobby of ours is golf. We book cruises to worldwide ports and also specialize in golf destinations. We attended the Cruise Line (CLIA) convention in Fort Lauderdale a while back and heard first hand from the cruise industry executives the fantastic opportunities in the cruise world for travelers. It’s only going to get better as the cruise lines respond to the retiring baby-boomers worldwide who want the very best in travel.
