If you take a cruise from Galveston with Texas Cruise Company, you can experience the new port at Falmouth. It was built almost 
from the ground up by Royal Caribbean and the ships will port there now instead of Freeport and Ocho Rios. Some Holland America ships will also call at Falmouth.
The town itself is still undergoing major renovations but locals are hopeful that in a year or so, they will welcome around 500,000 new visitors a year. So, cruise tourists will be a big business in Falmouth and in the rest of Jamaica as well.

Or you may want to try the famous Appleton Estate to see local artifacts and sample some aged rums made famous in Jamaica.
