Plan a Texas Cruise

When would be a good time to start planning a Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Conquest?

Why that would be now and you can take one of what we like to call a Texas Cruise.

The Carnival Conquest sails out of Galveston, Texas on Sundays and operates 7 day Caribbean cruises throughout the year.
There are two ways to sail the Caribbean on a Texas Cruise:  One is eastern Caribbean,  and other one is the western Caribbean trip.

The list of cruise dates for the Eastern Caribbean cruise for the remaining year of 2009 is September 20, October 18, November 15 and December 13.

The dates for the Western Caribbean round trip left in 2009 are from the present date until December 27.  A real treat would be to get onboard a Texas Cruise when it’s a little colder in the Great State, such as January, February, and March.  Yep, it’s been a scorcher this year so you don’t want to get too soft in the colder weather.

Here’s some details:
The cruise for the Eastern Caribbean round trip starts from Galveston, Texas; cruises to the Key West, Florida; and then cruises to the Freeport and the Nassau ports in the Bahamas Island. It then returns back to the home port of Galveston.    We love this trip because it takes us back to one of our favorite places in Key West.  We’ve been there several times and even went back one time Tarpon fishing.
And for the Western Caribbean round trip, the cruise starts from the Galveston; cruises to Montego Bay, Jamaica; then to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; it then cruises to the Cozumel, Mexico; then it’s back to the Galveston port in good ‘ole Texas.   Our favorite port on the western Caribbean itinerary is Cozumel.  We also love to play golf at Cozumel Country Club and sometimes the girls like to just shop ’till they drop up and down the streets of Cozumel.  We try to take that cruise once a year in the colder part of the year.
