As if the Carnival Conquest wasn’t already one of the best cruise ships sailing the Caribbean, it is now even better. The Carnival Conquest just returned from drydock where it got ’spiffied’ up a bit. Yep,that’s a Texas term for enhancements and some nice remodeling work.
Texas Cruise Company has customers sailing on the Carnival Conquest and Carnival Ecstasy most of the year and the cruisers who will be sailing in February are in for a real treat. Lots of enhancements have been made to the already very nicely appointed Carnival Conquest and the enhancements should make for a better cruise experience for all.
Here’s a short list of all the improvements:
Carnival Conquest was in drydock January 18-February 1 for improvements:
- Cosmetic enhancements to public rooms and areas, including carpet replacement and tile work.
- Family Staterooms (6E) on Spa Deck 11 will be converted into Balcony Staterooms (8F).
- Circle C Lounge – addition of a lounge for teens (12-14) on Atlantic Deck 4 forward.
- Spa Carnival – whirlpool will be removed; new fitness equipment installed.
- Carnival’s Seaside Theatre – addition of an Outdoor Poolside TV Screen on Lido Deck midship.
- Addition of Mongolian Buffet and BBQ Grille in Main Lido Pool area.
- WiFi internet access will be available bow to stern.
